Calvary Chapel Ministries

The ministries at Calvary Chapel Richmond exist to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Please look through the various ministries. We hope you will find one that interests you. Feel free to contact the church office for more information at, 604-288-7993.

uTh (yooTH)

uTh (yooTH)

UTH teaches teens how to have an amazing relationship with Christ through the study of God’s Word. Bi-weekly youth meetings and special events provide opportunities for teens to develop a strong friendship with God, and each other, in a relaxed environment.

Teens are encouraged to help with a ministry at Calvary Chapel Richmond. Serving others was of great importance to Christ. Jesus’ mission was to die on the cross as a final sacrifice so that we could be forgiven of our sins. On the way to the cross, He showed us some amazing examples of servant hood. He fed the poor, healed the sick and spent time with people that no one else would. That is what being a servant is about…following the example that Christ set by serving in your church and in your community.

UTH meet every second Friday at 7:30 pm and enjoys special events as they occur. For more information contact the church at, 604-288-7993.

Missions

Missions

Calvary Chapel believes strongly in supporting missions. Whether close to home, or abroad, we believe fulfilling the Great Commission found in Matthew 28, and bringing the gospel to the whole world, is a prime directive to the church. To that endevour we support the following missionaries:

Joan Veldkamp – GFA Canada – is serving as a vital link in the Canadian office of GFA, connecting more than 16,000 native missionaries in Asia with prayer and financial partners in the West.

Bruce and Lauren Lungren – Currently home on furlough, the Lungrens’ are waiting on God for direction to the next mission field He has prepared. Please pray for their finances during this time of waiting and for open hearts to hear the Lord. A matter of prayer that they are lifting before the Lord is a church plant in Quebec where they can continue to use their language skills.

Hand up to Hope

Hand up to Hope

Hand Up to Hope exists for the sole purpose of bringing glory to God by serving the disadvantaged and neediest in our community. Our example of serving in this capacity is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who had compassion on the people and commanded us to go and do likewise. Our desire is to be Christ to our neighbours, to ease their suffering, and to be a light in their time of need

Every Sunday evening a team goes out to feed and clothe the homeless and disadvantaged bringing hot meals, warm hearts, and the love of Jesus.

If you would like to volunteer for this ministry please fill out the application form and email it to info(at)calvaryrichmond.com
