It was good to be back in church after a two week absence. Others that had been away have returned too. The Shuhindu’s are back after a few months in Kenya visiting family and friends and Jhune Arce is back too from three weeks in Australia on business and some time with family there. Thank You Lord for keeping everyone safe over the summer.

With summer just about over thoughts turn to the upcoming ministry year. Please pray that the Lord would direct us. Psalm 127:1 says, Unless the Lord builds the house its builders labour in vain.

Ministries that were put on hold over the summer will soon be starting up again. The message in Psalm 13 Sunday morning was encouraging. When our minds are consumed with thoughts that don’t bring God glory that is when we need to seek Him the most.

My prayer is that this year we move from being simply believers to being sold out disciples to Jesus ready and willing to take up our cross, give up everything. and follow Him; there abundant life is found. Do you desire a deeper walk with Jesus? If you do then commit yourself to putting Jesus first in everything. Make this a matter of daily prayer, get involved in a ministry in the church, and come out to the weekly study starting up again in September.
